Halloween Window Painting 2011

For the 67th year, our Club sponsored the Halloween Window Painting contest in downtown Toms River.  Jack Mallon again organized the event, having obtained approval from the store owners, worked with Toms River High School South, and arranged for the judges and judging schedule.  The judges were members and friends of our Club.  There were over 80 windows painted along Main and Washington Streets, and the students did an outstanding job!

We want to thank the administration, staff and art teachers at High School South for their assistance, the students for sharing their talents with the public, and the businesses who allowed their windows to be decorated.

Prizes are awarded to the three students whose work is judged to be the best.  First Place went to Amanda Anwander, Second Place to Jessica Marco, and Third Place to Allison Gorczyca.  Amazingly, both Jessica and Allison were winners last year!  Congratulations to all the artists!

First Place: Grim Reaper, by Amanda Anwander
Second Place: Spider Lady, by Jessica Marco
Third Place: Mad Hatter, by Allison Gorczyca
